  • HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHO PRODUCES AND SELLS ATKINSONS PRODUCTS?

    The name behind that most iconic and fragrant of British brands is EuroItalia. Responsible for some of the world’s most beloved fragrances, EuroItalia has over 40 years’ experience in the global luxury beauty sector.

  • ARE OUR FORMULAS SAFE?

    Our formulas are dermatologically tested, and you can rest assured that if they do contain any allergens, their quantity conforms with IFRA49 guidelines.

  • NO NASTY INGREDIENTS?

    You’ll be as pleased as we are to know that our products contain no parabens, SLEs, silicon, palm and mineral oils and no phenoxyethanol.

  • NOT EVEN NICKEL?

    We use nickel, but in the tiniest of tiniest quantities, in fact <1ppm.

  • TESTED ON ANIMALS? ABSOLUTELY NOT

    We are proud and happy that testing products on animals has been banned for many years in Western countries.

  • WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT GOES INTO OUR PRODUCTS?

    For those curious-minded individuals, every single ingredient (INCI) is listed on each product’s bottle or packaging.

  • DID YOU KNOW THAT PERFUMES CHANGE WITH THE SEASONS?

    Every season is suited to different types of scent. In summer, the perfect fragrances feature floral, marine or citrusy notes while winter is more suited to woody, powdery tones or perfumes from the chypre family. We suggest you have fun experimenting to find the essence that captures the season or your mood.

  • ARE CERTAIN FRAGRANCES MASCULINE OR FEMININE?

    At Atkinsons, we simply love fragrances, full stop and see no reason to categorise them by gender. Our motto is that if you like it, wear it!

  • IS THERE A CORRECT WAY TO USE A FRAGRANCE?

    There’s something special about applying scent, a kind of fleeting hedonistic ritual. Spray behind the ears and on the forearms, but make sure you don’t commit the classic error of rubbing it in. This can bruise the fragrance (and we don’t want that!).

    If you want a full fragrance immersion experience, you can also spray it over your clothes, but don’t go overboard here, as you might end up with stains and again, we don’t want that!

  • AM I IMAGINING THINGS OR IS MY FRAGRANCE WEARING OFF MORE QUICKLY?

    If you’ve been using the same fragrance for months or even years, you may find that after a while you stop smelling it. To avoid this happening, it’s good to vary your perfumes. Variety is the spice of life, after all!

    You may also find that the scent seems to wear off quickly and this can happen if your skin is too dry. Hydrate, hydrate is the answer! Simply apply a perfume-free moisturiser or, even better, one with the same olfactive note as your favourite fragrance.

    Another trick is to spray your fragrance on your clothes as it tends to linger longer there than on your skin. But, just bear in mind that you’ll need to wash your clothing if you want to then wear a different fragrance. No mixing and matching here! One last thing is that if you are too generous with your spritz on pale garments, you may end up with nasty stains and we really wouldn’t want that to happen to a lovely person like you.

  • SHOULD I RUB A FRAGRANCE INTO MY SKIN?

    The short answer is No!

    Just like creating fragrances, applying it is also something of an art. Treat your scent with the delicacy it deserves. This means that you shouldn’t rub it into your skin, because alcohol doesn’t evaporate more quickly. Gently dab it, so that it slowly blends into your skin.

  • HOW DO I MAKE AN ONLINE PURCHASE?

    Purchasing anything from atkinsons1799.com really is a breeze.

    1. When something catches your eye, add it to your virtual “Shopping bag”.
    2. You can check what’s in your shopping bag at any time by clicking on the shopping bag icon in the top right of the website. When you’ve finished shopping and are ready to pay, click on “Continue to Checkout”.
    3. If you have an account on our site, complete your purchase as a “Registered client”. It's easy: just type your email and password, and we will know that's you! If not, you can continue as a “Guest”.
    4. Complete the fields with the information requested.
    5. Choose how to pay and, if your payment goes through, you will automatically be directed to a page showing that your order is confirmed. That’s it!

    You’ll then receive an email confirming your order. If you can't see it in your inbox, check in your junk folder ... sometimes even the most beautiful emails end up in Spam.

  • IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE QUANTITY OF PRODUCTS I CAN PURCHASE?

    Feel free to shop till you drop! You can purchase as many items as you wish and spend as much as you like. The only thing we should point out is that occasionally we may have to limit the quantity of a particular product if, for example, it is a limited edition.

  • DO I HAVE TO BUY SOMETHING IF I PLACE IT IN MY SHOPPING BAG?

    Absolutely not! Window shopping is one of life’s pleasures, after all. You can pile up your shopping bag and then change your mind as often as you wish.

  • I HAVE A PROMOTIONAL CODE. HOW DO I USE IT?

    Lucky you! To use your code, simply insert it in the field helpfully called INSERT PROMO CODE when you’re finalising your order. Your discount will automatically be applied. How easy is that?!
    Just as FYI, if you use a discount coupon shipping costs may apply to your order. Sorry about that ... it's our only exception to the rule.

  • WHAT PAYMENT METHODS CAN I USE?

    You’ve selected your fragrant goodies and are poised to pay. We accept all major credit cards (VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS) as well as PayPal.

  • IS ONLINE PAYMENT SECURE?

    That’s always a great question. But rest assured, we’ve jumped through hoops to make our website secure. Your card details are protected from unauthorised access by an encryption process called SSL (Secure Socket Layer) so that third parties can’t get their naughty mitts on them. So feel free to shop with peace of mind!

  • HOW DO I FIND OUT THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

    Have you ordered your gorgeous goodies and are impatient to know when you’ll be holding them in your hot little hands? Simply access your account or click on the link in the email we sent you when we confirmed your order and you’ll be able to see if your order is on its way to you.

DELIVERY COSTS AND INFORMATION

  • HOW DO I FIND OUT WHERE MY ORDER IS?

    We understand that you can’t wait to receive your fragrant Atkinsons delights and want to know exactly what’s happening. Simply access your Atkinsons account and check your order status. Or, you can click on the link in the email we sent to confirm your order. Now, if you haven’t received a confirmation order, maybe check your Spam folder just in case your computer didn’t realise just how important and special any email from Atkinsons 1799 is.

  • HOW MUCH DOES DELIVERY COST?

    Standard delivery id free because you deserve it, and it usually takes around 3 or 4 working days. If you place your order by 10am Central European time, it will be processed the following day (unless it is a weekend). Usually, orders are despatched the day after being placed, unless otherwise specified.

  • CAN I MAKE A CHANGE TO MY ORDER?

    Once your order has left us, we’re sorry, but it’s too late to make any change to it.

  • I’VE CHANGED MY MIND AND WOULD LIKE TO RETURN SOMETHING. WHAT DO I DO?

    It doesn’t happen often, but we understand that sometimes you might need to return a product because it’s perhaps not what you expected, for example. If that happens to you, you have 7 days from the time you receive it to let us know that you want to send it back. Simply send an email to info@atkinsons1799.com and our Customer Service will send you a return form. You need to send the product back within 14 days of the date you received it and please note that you should bear the shipping cost for returning your purchase. When you send it back, please make sure that the packaging is complete and that the product itself has not been opened or tampered with. And of course, it must not have been used. We don’t like to be tough, but we do have the right to not accept a return if any of these conditions aren’t respected.

  • CAN I PLACE AN ORDER BY PHONE OR EMAIL?

    We’re sorry, but all orders from our online store need to be placed via the website www.atkinsons1799.com. That way we are more efficient and can ensure you get your lovely products faster.

  • HELP! I’VE FORGOTTEN MY PASSWORD. WHAT DO I DO?

    We know, it’s easy to forget your password with so much going on. If that happens to you, simply choose the option to reset your password. If for some strange reason that doesn’t work, you can send us a message, using the email address you registered with. Or, if you’re in a rush, you can continue shopping as a "Guest".
