IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE QUANTITY OF PRODUCTS I CAN PURCHASE?
In most cases, you can purchase as many items as you wish. Occasionally, we may need to limit the quantity of a particular product if, for example, it is a limited edition or a customisable product, such as the Custom Sample Set.

WHY WAS MY ORDER CANCELLED?
We reserve the right to cancel an order or certain items in an order if the products are no longer available or if the payment has not been successful.
Please note that if your order has been cancelled automatically, the order amount will be credited back to the same payment method you used. Refund times may vary depending on the method chosen.

HOW DO I REQUEST A RETURN?
You can request a return within 14 days upon receipt of your order. Please note that the products you wish to return must be unused, undamaged and sealed in their original packaging.

Please note: some products may not be eligible for return. For example, Discovery Sets or customisable products cannot be returned.

ARE THERE ANY COSTS FOR RETURNS?

We accept all major credit cards (VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS), PayPal, Klarna and other express payment methods listed on the website in the shopping cart preview.
IS ONLINE PAYMENT SECURE?
Yes, payments on our website are secure: your card details are protected from unauthorised access by a process called SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption, so that third parties cannot access them.
WHICH COUNTRIES DO YOU SHIP TO?
We ship to all countries in the EU and the United Kingdom. Norway, Switzerland, Malta and Cyprus are excluded as destinations. There may be restrictions for some areas outside the EEC, such as Campione d'Italia, San Marino, Livigno and the Canary Islands. We reserve the right to cancel orders if they cannot be fulfilled due to customs restrictions.
WHAT ARE THE DELIVERY TIMES AND COSTS?
Delivery is free for orders over £150 or €150 and usually takes between 2 to 5 working days. If you do not reach the free delivery threshold, the delivery cost will be calculated at checkout before you proceed with the payment.
Please note that for some remote areas and at certain times of the year due to high shipping volumes, delivery times may be slower.
If you place your order before 10:00 CET, it will be processed the next working day (unless it is a weekend). Orders are usually shipped the day after they are placed, unless otherwise indicated.
WHICH CARRIERS DO YOU USE?
We use different carriers for shipments depending on the destination. When your order is handed over to the carrier, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link and details of the carrier responsible for your delivery.

When your order is handed over to the carrier, you will receive an email with a tracking link to monitor the shipment of your order. If you have not received this email, please check your spam folder.
Depending on the carrier, you may receive notifications about your shipment directly to your email address or mobile phone number that you provided during the purchase process.
If you are a registered user, you can also log in to your account to track the status of your shipment.
I HAVE A TRACKING LINK BUT IT IS NOT WORKING
Once you receive the email with the tracking link, it may take up to 48 hours for it to become active, so please wait 48 hours before contacting us.
Please note that if the order is in transit, we cannot intervene to add or change the delivery information or request the successful delivery of the order.
If the order has been held for more than 7 days or is in storage at the courier's hub, please contact us for more information.

ARE ATKINSONS PERFUME FORMULAS SAFE?
Yes, our formulas are dermatologically tested and comply with current IFRA guidelines and European cosmetic regulations. You can find the list of ingredients (INCI) on each product page. If you need more information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
ARE ATKINSONS 1799 FRAGRANCES FOR MEN OR WOMEN?
Atkinsons 1799 fragrances are not classified by gender and you can choose them based on your personal taste. Our motto is: if you like it, wear it.

HOW DO I CHOOSE A PERFUME WITH GOOD LONGEVITY?
Perfumes have different degrees of longevity and durability depending on their intensity. The most intense and long-lasting are Parfum Intense and Oud types, followed by Eau de Parfum, and finally Eau de Cologne and Eau de Toilette, which are lighter and more discreet.
If you notice that your perfume seems to fade quickly, pay attention to your skin's hydration: we suggest using a fragrance-free moisturiser or one with the scent of your favourite fragrance to enhance it.

Information about candles
HOW ARE ATKINSONS 1799 CANDLES MADE?
Atkinsons 1799 candles are made in Italy from a blend of vegetable wax with exceptional olfactory and burning qualities. They are individually prepared by skilled craftsmen in a factory that uses renewable energy. During preparation, each stage of the formulation is carefully monitored and the appropriate wax, fragrance and wick are selected. Each candle is the result of meticulous research and development carried out in collaboration with leading perfumers.
HOW LONG DOES A CANDLE LAST?
Atkinsons 1799 candles have exceptional longevity: 200 g candles have an average burn time of 52 hours, while 250 g candles last for almost 60 hours.
TIPS FOR USING CANDLES
The first time you use the candle, let it burn for at least 2-3 hours, until all the wax has melted on the surface. Make sure to centre the wick in the wax after each use. Trim the wick between uses, ensuring it is no longer than 6 mm. To extinguish the candle, use a lid or snuffer to avoid smoke and any splashes of liquid wax. A candle is finished and should not be relit when only 5 mm of wax remains or the metal wick holder becomes visible.
WARNINGS ON THE USE OF CANDLES
Do not move the candle when it is lit or when the wax is still liquid. Never place a lit candle in a draught or in close proximity to flammable materials. Place the candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Information about home fragrance diffusers
HOW ARE ATKINSONS 1799 DIFFUSERS MADE?
Atkinsons 1799 home fragrance diffusers consist of an elegant bottle containing the fragrance and fibre sticks to be inserted into the bottle cap.
The bottle has a sophisticated design reminiscent of one of the brand's historic bottles and is embellished with a gold medallion bearing the Atkinsons 1799 emblem.
You will receive your diffusers in a luxurious black velvet case.
WHAT SIZES ARE AVAILABLE?
The diffusers are available in two sizes. The first size is 250 ml, equipped with 5 fibre sticks and suitable for rooms from 15 to 30 square metres. The second size is 500 ml, equipped with 6 fibre sticks and suitable for rooms from 30 to 50 square metres. For rooms larger than 50 square metres, we recommend using two 500 ml diffusers.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
When using for the diffuser for the first time, unscrew the bottle cap and remove the protective cover; we recommend keeping the protective cover in a safe place, just in case you can reseal the diffuser when it will not be used for an extended period of time. Once the protective cover has been removed, replace the cap and insert all the sticks, allowing them to soak up the fragrance for at least one hour; then turn them upside down, placing the opposite ends inside the bottle. We recommend turning the sticks once a day.
