THE PLATINUM JUBILEE
This year is Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee: 70 years of reign that will be celebrated during a long bank holiday weekend, starting from Thursday June 2nd to Sunday 5th, in the UK and Commonwealth.
London will be the heart of the celebrations
Among the planned events, there’ll be The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant, where artistic performers, dancers, and musicians will unite to tell the story of The Queen’s 70 years of reign, in a unique and inspiring festival of creativity.
For this occasion St James’s House will publish a book, titled "Her Majesty The Queen: The Official Platinum Jubilee Pageant Commemorative Album". The publication charts the trials and triumphs of The Queen’s 70-year reign and explores how Her Majesty has provided the country and Commonwealth with a lifetime of leadership.
Inside the book there’ll be a part dedicated to 70 brands with a strong British heritage - among which Atkinsons - that stood out for their contribution to business, society, culture, technology.
Atkinsons will be part of this moment, celebrating its 200 years of history at the side of the English Royal Family in the creation of fragrances, crafted with the passion for excellence of its founder, James Atkinson.
